Composite Fencing

Composite fencing is a new advanced product that mixes real recycled wood and plastic to offer a long-lasting, low-maintenance alternative to timber.

Composite fence panels are more weather resistant than traditional fencing, due to the combination of wood and plastic. This means that they will outlast any pure timber fencing. With a minimum life expectancy of 20 years, the chance of needing to replace the composite fencing panels during their lifetime is reduced significantly.

Our dual-sided composite fencing panels can be stacked on top of each other to any desired height. They feature two 63mm battens on one side and three 38mm battens on the other, so you can decide how to display your fencing to best suit your property.

Composite fence boards simply slot on top of one another and into the vertical posts, allowing for a seamless and stylish finish on your installation. There won’t be a screw out of place in sight!

We supply our composite fencing in three unique and stylish colours; charcoal, graphite and walnut!

What are the benefits of composite fencing

DURABILITY

The difference between regular fence panels and composite fence boards extends beyond their material. When it comes to dealing with WPC fence panels, core strength is crucial. This means you can be certain that any installation will last significantly longer and will withstand strong winds and other adverse weather conditions. The same properties apply to all of the associated posts and fixings.

SPLINTER RESISTANCE

WPC fence panels are made from a combination of wood and plastic (60% recycled wood fibres and 40% recycled polyethylene), which prevents them from splitting. This means you can preserve the same look for a long time without having to deal with the splinters that come with traditional wood fences.

LOW MAINTENANCE

One of the best features of composite fences is that they require little to no maintenance. These fences are resistant to rotting and decay since they only contain a minimal amount of wood. This means that you will not have to apply any finishes, glazes, or anything else to keep them looking fresh.

Moreover, they are not only weather-resistant but insect resistant as well. All that is required to keep the panels clean is a power wash once in a while.

Is a composite fence better than wood?

The short answer is yes. WPC and traditional wooden fencing differ not just in terms of materials. There are several other advantages to consider if you want an installation that will last for many years.

While wood fences need to be repainted and/or repaired on a regular basis, composite wood fencing only has to be washed down with water occasionally. When it comes to weather, UV radiation, and other external factors like insects and mould, composite outperforms wood.

If you are environmentally conscious and want to do your part to assist the environment, WPC fencing is an excellent choice.

Does composite fencing last?

Composite fencing has a minimum of 20 years of life expectancy but can last up to 50 years. We supply WPC fencing with a 20-year warranty.

Do composite fence panels fit in concrete posts?

WPC fencing may be retrofitted between existing concrete posts or used in an entirely composite system, allowing for a very simple renovation. Since the composite fence panels are lightweight, they are quick and easy to install. They can be installed:

  • Into ground or grass
  • Onto concrete foundation or brick wall
  • Retrofit – Into existing concrete posts
