At Composite Sales, we stock an extensive range of accessories and fixings that are required to complete your Composites installation, including water butts and membranes.

We stock a variety of membranes suitable for all applications.

Woven Geotextile Membranes

Woven Geotextiles are commonly used for soil stabilisation and separation during road and pavement construction, as well as in gardening projects. They also help to strengthen aggregate layers on civil engineering projects by acting as a dividing layer that prevents ruts from forming.

Non-Woven Geotextile Membranes

Non-Woven Geotextiles are often used to wrap the exterior surfaces of water crates and land drains to keep soil particles from entering and blocking the soakaway or land drainage.

Damp Proof Membranes

Damp Proof Membranes act as a moisture barrier. They are commonly used in construction foundations, but they can be utilised for a variety of other damp proofing purposes as well.

Impermeable Membranes

Impermeable geotextiles do not let any water pass through them contrary to permeable membranes. They are used to keep water contained inside an area or building, or to keep water from entering a specified area or construction.

Joists & Supports

Joists are an important part of a composite decking construction since they form the substructure beneath.

Decking joists must be installed on a sturdy, flat surface. Uneven pavement, sand, or grass might cause the installation to shift, causing damage.

It is advised that joist centres be no more than 300mm apart. However, if they are utilised above ground level, they should be 250mm.
